Action Stream Launched
Achieved agreement on the process to develop the Global Roadmap of Actions (GRA). The GRA will assist countries in achieving the four goals - Universal Access, Efficiency, Safety and Green Mobility.
Governance Structure
Interim governance arrangements were extended by 6 months to June 30th, 2018, to facilitate the work of the Action Stream. ICAO and BMZ joined as new members of the SuM4All Steering Committee.
Mainstreaming Gender
Recognition that gender is at the heart of the SuM4All agenda. Currently women and young girls face significant obstacles in accessing public transport safely and gaining employment in the sector. Gender should be a cross cutting theme in the Global Roadmap of Actions.
